Unlike rigid insulation boards, glass wool's flexible structure can adapt to slight deformations in steel structures, making it less prone to cracking and detachment. In some projects, it is used in conjunction with moisture-proof and breathable facings to balance insulation and moisture protection needs, preventing internal condensation from corroding steel structural components. Currently, a large number of newly built warehouses, exhibition halls, and livestock sheds utilize glass wool insulation systems.
